STAR OF Sea, what you say is true but it isn't. Life is an experience and the things you do, failing is part of this. Just because someone is older does not automatically mean they are wiser or that their advice is automatically the right one for you. Older people get exploited and get things s wrong too, I know I did in my 20s, 30s, 40s...

However a minor (although I guess it depends on what country your in) can work in most countries before they are 18, make decisions about their medical health, be criminally responsible, kids can go shy diving and scuba diving and do other dangerous stuff like riding bikes and horses.

Children get asked in school about their preferred gender and sexual orientation.

I know it was raised a few years ago but it still the age of consent is lower then 18 in Spain is it not?

There have been more hospital admissions directly attributed to vaping. The chemicals that are put into vaping solutions have more and immediate effects on the human body. As far as I know there are not any regulations about the solutions. A college kid I know was studying for exams and was vaping non-stop, just as if he was chain smoking. Ended up in the emergency room with a sky high heart rate and dizzy. Blood pressure was very high also.

He was a bad boy as I told him from his starting to vape that he should quit. His mom was not happy either. Mom was a definite hotty as she looked much younger than she was.

The way the thread title is worded by the OP, I would assume he means going back by means of time travel. Why else would the BttF reference be there in the poll? I would love to go back to both the 70's and 80's to live out the things I've missed. I was born in the early 90's so I missed out on some things. I want to experience the free love and hippy lifestyle of the 70's. Sex and weed, yes please. The culture and fashion of the 80's fascinate me greatly. It was the height of arcades. I'd be able to see in concert bands/artists I like when they were at their prime during these decades including, but certainly not limited to: The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Steve Miller Band, Fleetwood Mac, Styx, Boston, Madonna, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Kiss, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, and of course-- Michael Jackson. I know it would be a long shot, but to also meet action heroes (as well as my personal heroes) like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Jackie Chan. I know all of them are still currently alive, but got to meet them in the 80's.

Okay, my fangirl squealing is over. Waiting for replies trying to gatekeep time periods just because I wasn't alive and you were.

I wouldn't mind going back to the 70s or 80s just knowing what I know now and being able to experience life to it's fullest then could be desirable. Also music then was nice

Yeh, it is BS. They are regulated and even if they were not you wouldn't be allowed to sell things that caused such dangers.

E cigarettes are often adapted to smoke other substances and it is these that you often hear about when injury or death occure.

Recently there was a report in the media (TV) about e cigarettes burstng into flames when bbeing tested. If you read the report the element was heated delibaretly way past operatic g conditions to test at what point they would cause dangers, but this was not reported.

Also there were recent reports of cheap phones imported from China causing fires, this does not mean all phones cause fires.

As for nicotine being part of the ingredients, this is true but not in all flavours and so what nicotine is present in things like tomatoes.

Obviously, I agree with you that age is not a synonym or guarantee for good advice, and having a greater experience in this life is not always accompanied by good judgment, as it depends on many personal circumstances. In the case of my words, I was referring to the concrete and individual case of mom, since she has always known how to give an expert and judicious vision in front of some particular situation that for me was a tense crossroads or the influence of inadequate people. In fact, she has always given me a great deal of freedom, fully trusting in the ethical and moral principles that, little by little, she has introduced into my life and that Mum understands must be my guide and accompaniment not for this particular moment, but for the rest of the years that I have left in this world. Mom has always respected my youth and has insisted, even with our unusual relationship, that I live my life according to my age, not that I stay at home with her or that I relate to her friends. She understands that I must have my own friends, my own hardstyle music concerts and my own Saturday night dinners with people with concerns, projects, ideas and experience according to my age. Just having my own experiences, my own tears and my own smiles, is the only way to consolidate my own character and personality. This does not prevent me from seeking your healthy and selfless advice when I have needed it, with the certainty that time has always proved you right.

Regarding the statement in the second paragraph and based on the fact that I am talking exclusively about the rules currently in force in Spain, it is true that a minor can work, but only if he or she is allowed to work between the ages of XX and 18, never before and in that period of time would require judicial authorization in the case of an emancipated person or the authorization of his or her parents if he or she lives with them. It is true that you can enjoy certain rights, but they are always very limited by previous authorisations. However, there are situations in the law that can be, initially, a bit disconcerting, because a minor needs not only the parental authorization for a tattoo, but also the physical presence of the parents in the tattooist's workshop, but she does not need any authorization other than her own decision to have an abortion.

Yes, the age of consent is as you indicate, but it is also true that in cases where there is a wide difference in age, they are studied very carefully to ensure that there has been no coercion or abuse, so in these cases, the mental maturity of the minor is also studied, as physical development is not always linked to greater mental maturity at these specific ages.

Sorry, no mentioning of ages under 18 is allowed in this section. Neo

I'm sorry, it's my fault. I got excited writing about law and was not aware of my mistake. I will pay much more attention. I'm sorry, from my heart.

I am very old now, what we didn't have, we never missed then, we lived, had a good time, all had jobs too.
We were happy swingers then too.
The internet made many people very lonely, I still don't have a mobile phone, have no use for it,
besides I have a almost new car, which is unlikely to break down, touch wood. Hehehehe.

Saw some German videos recently, about the rents becoming too much for many, especially the elderly.
The pensioners living in poverty, the Leih Arbeiter tragedy, it looks like American conditions.

I am glad we got out of there in 1964, long live Australia, but not all is now what it has been either.

It doesn't really matter where one lives today, if one has to pay rent, one is fucked.
We bought our first house 6 six years after coming to Oz, after 39 years we sold it with a massive profit.
Bought the next twice as big one, in a gentler area with cash, no bank got a look in.

But we had no holidays for years, lived frugally and security was the word.
That is why I am living well now. It is important to think of ones old age, if not you'll suffer for it.

I still become emotional when listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, had it often on my car stereo on the way to the beach, sigh.
Oh, for the memories, life was wonderful then.
