    And, let's not forget
    to - too - two
    tree - three
the two last - the last two
the two first - the first two

(Please people, add more of such examples, this will learn me more about English than I learned at school!)

    One of the worst offenders--
"I could care less!" instead of the correct "I couldn't care less!"

I remember my first Commodore 64 and Amiga 800 I believe, they were amazing at the time. Still, I wouldn’t ever want to go back. I love being able to buy a game online, click a button, and be playing it in 1080p 60fps only minutes later. And I never have to insert disk 2! (or 3, or 4, or 10...)

As for learning English, I feel for you! English is such a weird language... if you’re curious someday, look up the path English took, starting with Proto Indo European, and eventually forming from a mix of Germanic, Anglo, and Latin via French, and then kept evolving from there. Our crazy spelling is the result of that, plus sound changes like how Pyre became Fire, Pater became Father, Penne became Feather and also Pen (quill pens were made from feathers, thus penne became pen). English is such an odd language, I’m always impressed when anyone can learn it!

English is my second language, I found it easy enough.
I also remember the Abacus, I am very old.

I always struggled to get good grades in English class at school, until I took a class
in German. German language made sense and since English has it's biggest ancestry
from the German language, I then figured out the absolute craziness of English
    sentence structure.
Got an A in every English class after that, including a couple of Shakespeare classes.

In Flanders we say to this "you're only as old as you feel yourself".

That's a good philosophy. Personally, I feel with my hands.

Yikes... and I thought I was old... I started programming in BASIC on an old 8088 that my uncle had lying around. I vaguely remember a commodore somewhere in my past, but I don't remember who owned it or where...

and spell checker/auto-correct is about to follow the way of the dodo. Grammarly and it's many iterations will take over that role soon. What's really sad is that I heard that the schools are cutting back on writing skills. Now they don't teach no cursive. What's next? how to write in print letters? (Yes the grammar is intentional)

I am sometimes saddened greatly by some of the basic skills that many people do not have. I was on the train last week and was saddened to hear a conversation of when or if a hypothesis is even necessary in science experiments... WHAT?! Really?!

yeah... Just when I have new hopes for the future, someone comes along and cuts it down...

I just realized that I am going WAY off topic and didn't even mention what I wanted to talk about...

Brontobyte is the official designation after Yottabyte, then after that is Geobyte...

Nothing is CURRENTLY measured or tracked in those scales yet... Cisco predicted (in 2017 so this data is a BIT old) that Brontobyte with come into play next year as mass data will be coming in from cars for processing. Geobyte: Not expected to need it just yet, but eventually.
