Ain't that the truth. Seven month in purgatory because of some careless employee. The hottest summer in four years and we can't get Blue Bell give us a break.

My labs have laid down right in front of the A/C vents. A trip outside is 10 minutes tops. Baby my chocolate lab has figured out how the ice maker on the icebox works now there is a towel on the floor in front of it. It seemed cooler today it was only 95 F today. The outlook for the next week is for 90's high and 70's low still got some heat ahead.

Next thing we will be watching out for are the hurricanes. Never a dull moment weather wise in Texas.

It was kinda cool when I came back to VA from Texas. Like almost jacket weather, by comparison.

 

Being from the Midwest the summers in Texas are a burden very hot and dry. It's the winters that I enjoy. A average temperature in winter 55 to 60 here. Can fish and hunt in comfort in the winter. Not cooped up for six months like I was in corn country. Long falls and springs in fact the winter here is more like late fall back in the Midwest.

I think the University of North Texas might have made a mistake in authorizing this gift shop coffee mug....

 

Oh jeez. my niece goes there. LOL

 

If I were stocking the shelves with those, I'd set them exactly like that just to see who noticed.

 

it would be interesting to see how many people picked up on it , and how long it took .
