    If a Jew wants to demean another Jew in the worst way, they say that person is "goyism".
    @buffyfan , that is what one of my friends in Israel says. Is it the same here in the states?

    No. It is just used as a "not us" not an insult by all the Jews I know.

    But by saying "they are different" is to say either "we are better" or "they are not like us", so it is, in a way, an insult.

    it is not though. That is like saying that it is an insult to say that someone is Canadian not American. Goyim, at this point is used to denote a Non Jew or someone who does not understand that culture.
