Damn, It's cold!

Lol, I hear that ...

 

Disneyland Paris recently.

 

Heating my little house with wood. Haven't had more than three hours sleep at a time. Kept up to feed the wood stove. Last night it was only -21 degrees below zero. The night before it was -48 degrees of wind chill. Coldest weather that we have had here since 1965. I feel sorry for the dog she holds it for as long as she can. Even with a fur coat it's hard for her to go outside. Extra food for the both of us. Glad I cut extra fire wood for the winter. Must be a good scout I was prepared.

Well just a up date for anyone who cares. Was able to get into town a four mile trip on foot. So cold the the truck's battery was unable to turn over the motor. We got to Donna's my new lady. Queen came with my new dog a Siberian Husky. Her feet did get colder than mine and mine were cold. Much warmer today. We scooped the drive and drank a lot of hot chocolate. Queen and Squirt her little dog took a nice long nap in front of space heaters. The temp here in north central Iowa are on the rise. Tomorrow it is to be in the 40's. We will be going to the community concert tomorrow night a good way to end a hard week, taking Mother Stone along at 91 she still enjoys these events.
