Not quite that cold here right at the moment, but we've been hitting single digits, and even negatives this whole month. It's been freezing.

You can keep it. I thought lows in the teens (like 14F) was bad.

Ohio, we're -5 f and now power been out for 7 hours. I find it amazing that
out of the 16 houses on our street, only 2 of us have generators. (street is 1/2 mile long)
We are rural and the power goes out about 3-5 times a year for 24 hours or more.
And at least once a year for 2-3 days or more. Even sometimes in the warm seasons.

Worst case since we been here for 26 years is we were out for 17 days after this autumn
ice storm. Temps were in the 40s and even reached 50 following the storm, but the #
of trees felled by the ice were in the hundreds.
Many of us went out and cut the trees and cleared the roads on our own accord, but the
power company just couldn't handle it. The neighboring power companies had it
hit them too so everyone was shipping in trucks and crews from the southern states.

Look on the bright side people. However cold it is where you are, it's colder where I am.
