I can't with this politics forum...
I love seeing people with porn pfp in an incest forum discussing politics with actual arguments and respect... it's so unexpected that is almost funny.
Also it's weirdly more civilized than other platforms I've seen people discuss politics.
Maybe is cause we're less people on here than in other social media? perhaps
anyway, just keep sharing your opinions all you want, with respect.

It does seem a bit out of place, with some of the avatars getting around here. It's akin to a group of clowns pushing a home loan... you just don't wanna believe.

Keep skimming through some of the threads in this section. You may change your mind about the civilized part...

Well said! You'll fit in ok around here.

The problem is not members who are overly passionate in their ideas or initiate long discussions that can end in disrespect and more extreme positions. The most important thing is never to abandon your path, your serenity, never to allow the passion of other members to make you abandon your path and behave in the same way, even if they are personal references. The easiest, simplest and most comfortable thing is to behave like those overly passionate members, always being able to say that you are responding to a provocation. The most difficult thing is to know your way, to trust your serenity, to keep your inner balance at all times, there is no justification for behaving like other members. You cannot prevent a member from not respecting you, but you can prevent yourself from not respecting that member, your respect for others depends only on you, not on external influences. You can always respond with moderation, tell others that your way is serenity and if the conversation is extreme, the best option is silence.

I believe it is because we are discriminated against on a demographic level very viciously. And people who have faced discrimination tend to be very empathetic and kind. The hyper polarization is mainly driven by completely useless people who have literally nothing to do except being angry and rude for the sake of being angry and rude.
