Just Because It's Beautiful

I imagine that living near a volcano of this size is relatively scary. Depending on the distance, an alert doesn't make that much difference...

 

It is only viable in an environment where the water is not disturbed. For example: a lake.

 

The world needs more works like this. Monumental, complex, sublime and durable. And in my opinion, modern architecture once again needs to look at ways of using stone. This material is extraordinary in the sense of durability. That's why Europe is still full of roads and bridges built by the Romans.
