How many of you want to go to space, at least once in your lifetime?

Just once in my life I want to go to space and watch our beautiful mother Earth, place we call home from above. How many of you have that desire to look at the "Pale blue dot" (term coined by famous astronomer Carl Sagen) ?

I want to. I'd even want to be in Musk's Mars Colonization project

You're my kind of gal Lian. Why anyone wouldn't want to go, given an opportunity, right?

You know, I've always been fascinated by space, the universe, the galaxies and so on. So I had to obviously watch the movie "Gravity", first day. I watched it on IMAX 3D. And the very first shot, the shot of earth from the International Space Station, there was a collective gasp in the theatre. I kid you not, everyone gasped, it was so beautiful.

If it is based on the current level of human technology, then no. Because the life of an astronaut is not so romantic, on the contrary, it is full of dullness, hardship, danger and endless scientific research tasks.

But if it's based on science fiction, then of course! I wish I could live forever with mom on an asteroid that is just us.

A space trip to see the Earth from space would be very exciting and I would like to live that moment. But I would never live on another planet, except if I had the complete security of a sea. It wouldn't be the Mediterranean, but it would be a sea.

Wouldn't want to live on a spaceship for a long time, but I'd love to see the vastness of space from up there, just to get a sense of it all

I wouldn't want to live in another planet either. I just want to enjoy the view from space for a while and come back, that's it. But I couldn't live in another planet, it just wouldn't be home.

I think that's the general thinking here including me. Yes life as an astronaut, it's freaking hard.
