The global "polycrisis" as Klaus Schwab called it is getting ever more imminent. Do you think there will be a total breakdown of public order in your region or country?

I'm living in Germany and I'm prepared for a lot, but I'm getting ever more nervous. The ship for an exile in Uruguay or something has sailed for me, because health stuff going on, but I'm still looking around for a an even saver place than the one where I moved some time ago.

Eastern Germany? Switzerland or perhaps the Austria? Are the Alps protection enough, or does it have to be something in a niche at the fringes like Andorra or Ireland?

How do you handle that in Europe or the US or elsewhere? Does anyone know a good place where the storm can't fully hit? Or is this just me and I am paranoid about the craziness out there which in reality isn't?

I’m praying that doesn’t happen in the USA but there are a lot of lunatics out there

Probably everywhere, sooner or later, in my opinion.

    But I don't care, I am a mysantrophist.
Most of the bastards don't deserve life.

I am only anxious about long term economy.
I mean my whole life savings can disappear in any way: fall of US dollar, fall of crypto or stock market, inflation, etc.
If you think trough gold is just a metal.

    What has real value?
Owning a land d be great idea? The government or climate change could still fuck me in the ass, and taxes too...

In the USA, unless the power grid goes down, it's highly unlikely. The media portrays riots and protests as though these people comprise a near sum total of the population of the US, when the reality couldn't be farther from the truth. There's over 330 million people in this country. There may be a few thousand people who regularly attend these dog and pony shows to scream at the sky and light a car on fire, but the other 99.9% are at home living their lives and trying to squeeze out as much happiness as they can.

Further, because people own firearms, if there is a breakdown...God have mercy...on anyone or any group who tries to cause harm to someone or their family who have stockpiled "Worst Case Scenario Guns and Ammo" because they will be met with substantial resistance.

It's already happening albeit it slowly enough that an amazing number of people don't actually see it happening.

I live in France, I like to think i can relate to your words. Even if it always looks like we are on the verge of a revolution/social crisis, I just think we are too resilient for our own good, we just accept the situation on the long term, and live with it. I'm embittered a little bit, for sure, but I just can't see a total breakdown happening in the near, even far future.

We need to recapture the ability to agree to disagree that was dominant until the 2010s
People should understand the left behind will not remain so forever FFS don't just read history learn from it
After the first world war the German ambassador tried to convince the allies by saying 75 million people will not just disappear and so the penalty inflicted was always going to lead to more war
Today in the UK the old coal and industrial areas as in France and the US rust belt will not passively allow the 5% to carry on owning the 90%

I think our next serious conflict will come from our own hemisphere and Texas will survie as an indepent republic, the rest of the states will have ineffective goverments
ruled by a one party system in Washington DC with a new socialist constution. Free agency will be restricted to preserve the collective by that party.
