I did find out what caused it. It was just fucking old. The connectors were rusted out and it was just one of those parts that is made to wear out. Nothing that I can fucking do but just have a spare one on hand for the next time. I was going to get one this morning but the guy only had one in stock, so I will have to check back in about a week to see if he has gotten more in. Easy fix but what a fucking pain in the ass.

It wasn't the fucking part I needed was only 12 bucks and I am the plumber and I am pretty cheap. The only thing that was really bad was having to go the whole night itching from the dried soap I was wearing. Just a little inconvenience that's all.
