Dog's are like people because they are people! (only they'll never LIE TO YOU!)
Nice to see a fellow dog person on here.
Used to have a dog myself but, she went on to doggie heaven, died too young
Dogs are very intuitive. They can tell a person's personality with just a quick sniff! I've had Alpha Male wolves roll over into a docile position. On the first introduction!
Poodles and Chihuahuas are a sub-species of dogs! (They will be referred to here as Ankle Biters)
She got into some antifreeze one night when she got loose, she wasn't able to get to water in time to flush out her system, she died the next day
I've got a black lab. I had a cat for 14 years but it had a stroke and died last year.
We had a Chihuahua many years ago, he had the heart of a lion, we didn't know about heart worm then
and nobody including the Vet told us, so we were shattered when we lost him.
Our last dog was a Bullterrier female, she was love with 4 legs, she got very sick with Arthritis,
screamed with pain when we touched her shoulders, so at 13 we had her put to sleep, we cried our eyes out.
Couldn't bear to go through it again.
Her mate our tomcat fretted so much, he refused any food and was gone 3 months later.
The poor loving creatures leave us far to soon.
Our bullterrier appeared to me one morning while I was shaving, she always came for cuddles ,
before she died.
I was so shocked I just sat there, never saw her again after that, but she lives on in our hearts.
That's why I'm glad that the USMC mascot is a bulldog by the name of Chesty.
I cannot any longer have a dog, as I have downsized to a modest city condo.
So I am a cat person, but I do get it.
Bests, Anna ...
This pix is so expressive, she's cuter than the law will allow!
Of course, who else would he be?
Fred, As a special companion a canine is tops so when we lose that very special heavenly connection. Keep them in your memory and make room in your heart for the next puppy, because there are too many out there with no love!
It's okay, shed some tears and then open your heart again!
