Optical illusions

Okay, then how on earth do you think that this cookied wheel could have happened ??

Not difficult to understand. A manhole cover was not placed into its place properly (see dry area next to hole that looks like have a crescent).

The car then drove over it at the "right"(wrong?) spot and the wheel partially fell into the hole and flipped up the cover to the wheel.

By chance the cover was the right size to create this illusion... well... a bit oversized as seen in the right picture.

 

Now, which landing were we going to meet at ??

 

I do not have the patients or skill to draw/paint anything like this.
