To name some not said before:

• Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) was a mother in Body of proof. It was a real pity Jeri Ryan didn't have any offspring in that show. But from Dana, I do think of
• Bree van de Camp (Marcia Cross) from Desperate Housewives as the most representative for me, but of course, all of them could join the selection at a nice BBQ in Wisteria Lane.
• Courtney Thorne-Smith counts twice: According to Jim & Two and half men.
• And from Two and half men, Lilith (Marin Hinkle), lovely implants
• Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) in Friends. Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) was also technically a mother in Friends.
• Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan) in How I met your mother. Tracy McConnle (Cristin Millioti) too as THE mother, even if we weren't able to enjoy her ... maternity
• Another show about moms: Mom, with Allison Janney.
• Roz Doyle (Pero Gilpin) was a nice liberated mature mother too.

There are more that are not technically mothers (aunts, just mature ones or too small roles to develop it)...

Of course Gloria (Sofia Vergara), but as far my animal insticts fade away, my choice is always Claire (Julie Bowen). She also has a more interesting family to join.

And I am sure I still forget someone...

 

So many possibilities .. all of them with all kinds of possibilities.
