Do you have a porncollection or do you just stream?

I like to collect and save some of the porn I watch. How about you?

And if you do have a collection, how do you keep it organized?

 

Funny this popped up. I just purged my collection, because I hadn't so much as opened either box in at least 10 years.
Two copier paper boxes jammed full of mags and VHS tapes, all from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's, right into the garbage tote.
I tossed all the DVD cases, put the discs in slip sleeves, and stuck them in a drawer, even thou I don't own a DVD player anymore.

 

Actually I was talking about porn on the computer, but great to hear someone still has a collection of physically porn
I dumped mine over 20 years ago.

But I am still wondering how you guys keep your porncollection (on the computer) organized.

 

I have a collection on the computer, but in a password protected partition so that nobody who ever needs to use my computer would be able to access it. Unfortunately, I forgot the password! Chances are I'll just end up deleting the partition so I have more space for all the other, non-porn stuff I keep downloading.

 

If I recall correctly, I generally organized anything I downloaded myself instead of being sent by people I chatted with in directories named after the general theme/genre of the porn. If there were multiple pics, vids, etc. in a series, those would get their own directory underneath. For stuff that people sent me, that was organized in a directory structure of message-service/username/date, which was definitely a lot cleaner than my just-dump-it-generally scheme for stuff I'd download.

 

I look over the usual sites. I have a few flash drives full. Incest that I organized first by ethnicity. Spanish, Indian etc. Then by Mom/Son Bro Sis etc. I hit all the combos. It's all armature material that once downloaded, I transferred over then deleted my computer download file. I tend to look out for vids with just one camera that stays still while filming. Once I had acquired enough to fill a drive I thought that I'd store them in folders by the movie length, 0 to 5mins. 6-10mins. etc. I only keep ones that have no professional look to it. The shorter the video the better quality seems to be my observation.

 

I Had about half a terabyte worth of hentai and hentai mods for Skyrim until a few months ago when I decided to purge the whole thing. Feels good tbh. May build another collection in the future lol.

I decided to write my own software to organize my collection. This way i am able to tag videos, pictures, magazines, etc and link/sort them by info like actors, sites, language, galleries, size ...

 

I save an organize quite a bit. I used to not, but after failing to locate several fav videos online i decided that it would be prudent to start saving everything i really enjoyed. With how fast things on the web change, who knows what will be available in the next few years.

I used to but my computer died spectacularly with a bang and smoke killing both the internal and external hard drive which was plugged in at the time. So I’ve lost my collection and the back up.
Some of it was sorted into different folders, but a lot of it was in an unsorted folder awaiting organising.

 

I had a large porn collection that was on about three hundred floppy discs. I have saved them to a couple of zip drives and cd-roms. I organized the pictures by themes.

Have a collection on the computer , for those times when I am off-line... Only about 700 images and one full length porno film , which I suspect is nothing compared to what most people have in their library. Loving built up over the course of a few years..

 

On my server. I use the Emby platform, I use it to stream it. Emby is a well multiplatform base. 8TB drive dedicated

I'm still in the process of writing it. Things escalated a bit and I am now experimenting with a few
different things, like facial recognition for videos and pictures to identify actors.

But so far I am able to

• import pictures, videos and magazines.
  
• create actors, galleries, sites, tags,
• import actor profile data from iafd.com
• store all the data in an sql database

So how it works at the moment is you can import the media files and link them with data like actors,tags,sites,file information,etc.
This way you can search for the files or sort them in the program.
