Georgia is in the news, but the same thing is happening in several other states too. I remember in the 2016 election, San Diego county was reported to have 170% voter turnout and there were other counties with more than 200% voter turnout in California. Its was speculated that their were 2 to 3 million fraudulent votes in California alone. They didn't pursue it in 2016 because even with all the fraud, Hillary lost anyway. So this time, the Democrats probably went overboard in the fraud department.

Liberals are very afraid of losing their capital. Donald has already begun to cut off cash flows. The financiers are furious.

The US voting system dates from the 1800s, it is in serious need of an overhaul. It is a system where you could win the popular vote, but lose the electoral college. So the loser wins. If you thought that could not happen, it has. Three times. ;)

That's actually working as intended, Ducky. Like how Congress is divided into two bodies, one apportioned by population and the other with a fixed number per state, the Electoral College exists to avoid a tyranny of the majority where the most populous states completely stomp over the less populous ones. It is one of the necessary checks and balances required to make the union work.

As it is, citizen voting for electors (you don't even actually vote for the president, just for the people who choose the president) isn't even a (federal) constitutional right (or any other kind of right). Each state has decided, over time, to allow its citizens to choose the electors for that state, but that has been an individual decision for each state. Historically, a number of state governments chose their state electors themselves.

People in the USA and around the world have the wrong view of the US federal government. It is a republic of republics, not a citizen's republic itself. Your actual representation is at the state level, regardless of the fact of direct voting of members of Congress. This is something Americans have been forgetting, unfortunately, since the 1950s.

Well said. It is working just as intended. I you lived in a state in the Mid West (flyover country) and Presidents were chosen by the popular vote, you
essentially have no vote. It wouldn't take long before the people would resent it. Knowing that your an American, entitled to all the great things this
country allows but your vote is also worthless? Don't be fooled into thinking like people who advocate this. They know what the consequences are but want this change regardless because they resent freedom and our system. That is a lesson not lost on the founding fathers when in their OWN TIME in France, they saw heads were literally rolling down streets by a angry mobs.
