Do you have to actually create 10 new posts, or is commenting on posts how you unlock access?

 

Responses on threads are considered posts. You do NOT have to create new threads!

 

I am really curious about what I am missing out on.

What's a restricted forum

 

Any post in the open Forum is counted, either as new or as a reply.
If you start a thread, that is a post and counts.

Posts in any member's profile is not.
PM replies are not counted either.

Simply cannot wait, been making pretty meaningful posts since signing up yesterday so should get to 10 quite soon but then the 10 day wait is gonna be agonizing!

this place does seem fantastic, I can't wait to get a look at it all

 

This place is so exiting so far! Emotionally, of course I am curious about the part that is hidden. Nevertheless, it seems to me a very decent idea to let people get familiar with the forum, the way it is acting and to show and proof at least some decent interest to the moderators. (Even thinking about the reduction of stress and work to the moderators, if people are pre-selected a bit.) Altogether it will be more easy going for everybody in the "hidden" parts. Therefore I am patient and I can wait with a smile. *smile*
