Chicken with sweet and sour pineapple Chinese style. A glass of wine and apples from the Alps

    Ingredients

    450 g chicken breast
2 slices pineapple in its juice
    1 egg
    150 gr. flour
    160 ml. water
    6 tablespoons pineapple juice
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 teaspoon rice vinegar
4 tablespoons Thai Sweet Chili sauce
    Olive oil
    Salt

    Preparation

Beat the egg, add the water and flour, and mix.
Cut the chicken into small pieces, add salt and rub in the above mixture, leave to stand for 15 minutes.
Add the oil to the frying pan, and fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove the oil from the chicken with absorbent paper.
In the same pan, fry pineapple chunks for two minutes.
Mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce and vinegar in a glass, pour over the pineapple, add the Thai sauce and honey and fry for a couple of minutes.
Add the chicken, mix, and simmer for 2-3 minutes

Couple's dinner with my sister in a restaurant. Today she chooses the restaurant, she is still deciding, but for sure it will be a vegetarian one :mad:But my sister is so happy, she enjoys these restaurants so much, that it is impossible to refuse :)

We had the same last night. Mom always makes extra because she knows how much I LOVE Thanksgiving leftovers, sometimes even more than actual Thanksgiving dinner:).

Baked vegetables (One of the thousands of vegetarian dishes that my sister loves so much) with a glass of wine and Alps apples

    Ingredients

    1 courgette
    1 aubergine
    1 red pepper
    1 yellow pepper
    1 green pepper
    Mushrooms
    Olive oil
    Salt
    Black pepper

    Preparation

Wash all the vegetables. Cut off both ends of the aubergine and courgette and cut into slices. Cut the mushrooms in half and the peppers into strips after removing the seeds. To ensure even cooking, cut into similar size pieces. If they are small pieces, they will cook faster and their texture will be crunchier, if they are large pieces they need more time and their interior will be soft and juicy.

Arrange all the cut vegetables on a baking tray, add a drizzle of oil and bake in the oven at 200ºC for 40 minutes. The baking dish must be flat and large enough so that the vegetables do not pile up. We can protect the tray with baking paper, which will help us to clean it later. Move the vegetables around in the oven every 10 minutes, to make sure they are cooked equally on all sides.

When serving, add a little salt, some freshly ground black pepper and a little olive oil.
