If a child is a product of incest, isn't there the chance that defects or other complications can occur? I only ask because my girlfriends ex was result of incest and when he was born, his stomach was outside of his body and had to surgically be placed inside his body?
As it turned out, his parents didn't know they were related, they were cousins who I guess had never met and such, but I digress.
This isn't meant to discourage anything I was just wondering if there are other dangers? |

Birth defects like that only form after 10 or 11 generations of incest. One generation is very rarely enough to cause it. It is mostly likely a birth defect from other sources. And even then, incest birth defects are caused by slimming the gene pool, a recessive gene whereby it may trigger a condition like that must be incredible rare, much rarer than 9 toes or something, so the chances of two people finding each other, unknowingly family, after multiple generation of incest to brign that about, must be very low? |

I posted the question because I was curious, I wasn't looking for some smartass remarks. If thats all you feel your capable of posting then dont bother.
People on this site that post questions I'm sure are looking for imaginative, informative or atleast creative feedback and if your incapable of that then exactly why are you wasting our time? |
