Solar and wind power are the future energy options.

I honestly think that humanity was not meant to remain here on Earth for a long time. And when I was growing up in the Fifties, fascinated by the possibility of space travel, it was commonly expected that we'd at least have habitable colonies on the Moon by now, if not Mars. And it was not uncommon to see popular articles about life around planets of other suns than ours.

Perhaps, but space isn't exactly friendly to... life, and Earth is the only planet in our solar system that can sustain life currently. Any exo-planets that can theoretically support human life is too far to get to with our current technology. Hell, it'd take on average months just to get to Mars, our nearest solar neighbor. If you want to leave the solar system you are looking at years, 10 years to pass Pluto to be exact. To get to the next nearest system, Alpha Centauri, it would take over 4 years if we could travel at the speed of light, which we are nowhere near close to doing, so you are looking at likely lifetimes (plural) to reach the nearest system, whether it can support human life or not.

This is a simple, six minute video explaining the Milankovitch Cycle - every aspiring paleo-geologist studies this.

This one cycle explains about 80% of earth's climate in the last 2 million years. No carbon dioxide crises, no man-made global warming theology, just the facts.

Agenda-driven dopes like Greta Thunberg should review this video before they spew their garbage again..

Climate change will be evident due to the pollution spread in the oceans and forests.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but climate change and pollution are two completely different things. They have nothing to do with each other except maybe in the far distant recesses of some backroom obscure discussion.

Sorry - my bad. The post was about Greta Thunberg recently having a type of beetle named after her, it included a picture, and she's under-age.

    Here is the beetle :

Questions remain, however - is it a type of dung beetle ? A stink bug ??
