    " June 8, 1967 was a day of treachery and terrorism. "
This week marks the 50th anniversary of Israel's massacre of the crew of the USS Liberty - one of the worst attacks in history against a noncombatant US naval vessel.
    Israeli Terrorism.jpg
An Israeli torpedo tore through the side of the unarmed American ship, in international waters off the Sinai coast. It was an unprovoked sneak attack, which would leave 34 Americans slaughtered and 171 crippled. And many of the murdered seamen were ruthlessly gunned down from the air, while they desperately tried to deploy their lifeboats.
And to this day, Israel has never taken responsibility for the attack, nor have they offered any compensation to the families of the slain crew-members or to those who were fortunate enough to have survived their terrorist attack.

Just recently there was a documentary on one of the news channels about this ship, with a lot of actual footage....might have been on Al-Jazeera, so I am aware of the story of this ship. It is absolutely disgusting how the US covered up what happened to this crew. And Israel should also hang their heads in shame!!!
