    And the Race was on........

(and it weighed x8 heavier because the Ruskies have a liking for using heavy steel instead of other lightweight products, hence they have to use stronger, more powerful engines).

On this day in 1763 , George III of Great Britain issued the Proclamation of 1763, closing lands in North America north and west of the Alleghenies to white settlement.

And so Gadget went ahead and did it anyway issuing land grants beyond the mountains. That pissed off an awful lot of indians and got people killed. There is today still an outstanding warrant for his arrest.:D

Good point. I was unable to find a full-size of the coloured poster, but here is a larger version of the Proclamation :

That's why we seek the arrest of Gadget for violation of the Proclamation of 63.

George the Third was not the legal king of England. He was Herzog von Hannover. Charles Edward Stuart was the legal king. The decree is null and void.

It's a true story Puss-Cat. The real heir to the throne is actually living down in New South Bloody Wales, however, he neither wants nor has any inclination to reclaim the throne back. The House of Hanover, now the House of Windsor since the start of WW1, is illegally ensconced upon the British Throne.

    Cheers

Its not the first time in British history that the throne passed for various political reasons. Actually the current family is of German ancestry (Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) and supported Germany during the first world war.

That's what I was saying Doggie....The King of England at the time George IV, changed the house name to Windsor because of their link to the German Kaiser. It was good old Queen Vic who was married to her German cousin after all (Prinz Albert).
