Well if everybody had a camper ... like Muffdiver would say.

Then we'd all go surfing ... partying the day away.

Fred, he'd be serving those drinks good ...the true Australian way.

Oh yeh those would be the good times ... every single day.

And when we all got tired ... and we called it a day.

We'd sing that fine old good song ...

    Surfing USA !

Oh my, jerrilynn... I was married to a proud Scotsman for twenty-five years.

And with me, of proud English descent, he fared very well despite ... but there were, on occasion, certain border wars, let us say :) .

But the best 'stand-up row' we ever had, was when Ronnie Wood left Rod Stewart's 'Faces' to join the Rolling Stones.

Being of Scot descent myself, on both sides of my family, I can understand your "border wars" marriage. When Ronnie left Faces, it was a sad day for me but obviously an astute career move for him. It certainly worked out for the best for my man Rod also.

Well ... first there were three play-girls, and with Anna we're four.
And we were tired of the jail time, so we climbed the corridor.

We broke out of Vanier, tunnelled up to Maplehurst,
Hey, what's to lose ... cause it couldn't be worse.

And what would you know, there were fine fellows there,
So we pulled up our skirts, and we let down our hair.

Saw there was a concert, so we sat and watched,
Oh my goodness, how that jailhouse rocked ...

    :)

Hon, I just love how Rod Stewart is so sensitive.

My favourites of his, are how he so intelligently interpreted your old USA favourites, time after time ...

Amy, I am embarrassed to say that I learned the beautiful German language for three years in high school, but lost it through lack of use.

I did visit Frankfurt am Main in the 1980's, and had a wonderful boat trip on the Rhein ... an afternoon walk in Rüdesheim am Rhein, and later up to Köln, and I hope that I am spelling all those correctly.

It would take me a while now, to understand the beauty of the many words you have spoken.

You know, it's sad, hon. We here in Canada complain that we need to know French. What wimps we are to do so, when it is customary in Europe to flow smoothly through languages.

My pen pal in Belgium, slisse here, teases me with his Flemish ... and he knows a half dozen more !
