    Stupid question, is that a crystal vase with the sea horses? You can't make out the vase. If it wasn't for the fake bubbles, I never would have guessed.

    I can't confirm that it's crystal - it's on a French blog ( http://les2deesses.over-blog.com/page/11 ) so anyone fluent might be able to glean some more information.

    The site doesn't say what the vase is made of whether its glass or crystal. It just says seahorse and sea star. Aren't you Canadian, I thought French was required in your school system.

    Hi - yes, it is required, and I took five years of it. But it was a 'bookish' sort of French, 'classical', about as useful as learning English from Shakespeare.
    And it was a long time ago, and I haven't used it, and so on.
