Do you still pay for movies or do you stream?

Mostly stream nowadays. Used to torrent more back when connections were too crappy for streaming with any kind of tolerable quality. Sometimes go to a theater to watch something just for the movie theater experience, but that's maybe few times a year.

It's all old school, kids - you put up an antenna, you get what you want.

 

I guess it just depends if it is a movie that is streamable on a platform or not. But as a general answer, yes on occasion

 

Stream mostly but there are a few movies I will go to the theater to see. John Wick 4 is something I am looking forward to!

John wick 2 i thought was atrocious but 3 really brought it back to something compelling

 

i stream netflix and youtube for documentaries and such but use movie sites for real movies

 

I buy movies that I really like or that go with a series I started ... but to buy them they have to be steelbook cases.

I still stream movies but only digital copy codes of mine or that family didn’t want. I rarely rent a movie via Digital and I would never buy a digital movie (I like the tangible ownership that comes with a physical disc).

I run a plex server that I share with family and friends ... got a lifetime PlexPass to go with it, mostly to support the devs but there are a few features that are kinda nice as well. Plex keeps all my DVD rips (haven’t gotten into BluRay ripping ... yet).

I love going to the movies in theaters ... I miss MoviePass bad ... in it’s hay day I was seeing every movie that came out for 6-8 months. I am looking forward to seeing movies in Theaters again.

 

Some movies need to seen on a big screen inside of a theater with the speakers blaring. So it depends on the movie. I do both pay and streaming. Looking forward to seeing Maverick on the big screen.

The old model still rules, regardless of technology - the sponsors pay.

Because that's what truthful sponsorship was always supposed to mean.
