Do you believe in climate change?

Of course. How can anybody with the right mind say that it's NOT real? There are tons of evidence, both pictures and movies and stories from people who are affected.

    Lol:)

True enough. My ability to write in english seems to be bad enough already. ;)

On serious thought, we would need to work really hard to make us stupid to lose intelligence. But doable if we start now. :D

I believe this entire environmentalist narrative was constructed as a half-baked alternative to the genuine, socialist criticism. But now perhaps there won't be any need for this climate change narrative since the Corona pandemics largely rendered neoliberal capitalism obsolete. It is already hard to imagine some future populist candidate wining the elections on anti-healthcare agenda. Reagan-Thatcherite order is finally over and populist strongman such as Trump can't put that Humpty Dumpty back together again.

Nor can the liberal Clinton/Obama ass kissers. Does anyone with a brain think Biden has the answeres? Or Sanders? AOC can go back to serving coffee. At least that is something she truly suited for. As for Pelosi and the rest of YOU CORRUPT ASS WIPES IN CONGRESS, that is why we NEED TERM LIMITS!!!!!

I haven't seen any proof that this is true.

Well, there alot of things going on to do something, unfortunately it's slow going as its pretty much completely new technology. I can't find the appropriate links to them, but basicly with certain chemical reactions CO2 can be turned into methane, that can be used as fuel in cars etc. As natural gas. What that means is instead CO2 is produced but is recycled. CO2 to methane that is burned and produces CO2 which can be turned back into methane. Problem is that the reaction needs alot more energy to be produced. So we need increase power production and to be clean as possible. More wind, solar, and nuclear (which not produce other waste than plutonium) power.

Many energy and fuel companies are looking into this. It is hard to fight greenhouse gases, as worlds population increases so is demand of industry. How ever we can quite easily catch emissions that industry produces and turn that into fuel.

More we recycle, be it trash or gas, it is much efficient way. While it doesn't cut our emissions from increasing, recycling stops the increase instead. Soon as getting emissions from increasing, it is much easier to start to look how to decrease 'em.

Unfortunately it would take more energy to turn CO2 into methane than you would get in return for using the methane as fuel. And weight for weight, methane has a much greater greenhouse effect than CO2.

Yes, it has. However its produced in "reactors" and is caught for usage before it gets to atmosphere. And yes, I stated it requires conciderable amount of energy, and that is what scientist are trying fix right now. While I support electric cars and sort, even that is not without problems. Batteries needs cobolt, which is mined and then refined. Such industry has also big effect on enviroment, those that takes longer to over come. One of the biggest emission producer is air traffic, if the fuel is produced other ways than from fossil fuels, we all get to have vacations in other countries in the future too.

Because when I was growing up in the 80's and 90's, the "experts" said we'd all be under water by now. Because I grew up with the "Hockey Stick" hoax.

At this point, it is reckless and ignorant to believe or spread the belief that climate change is a hoax. The amount of people’s lives affected by the quickly changing weather patterns is scarily high. Soon, the climate will become a global humanitarian disaster if nothing changes. If you want to understanding the damaging impact of humans on the planet, look at how the earth has healed since covid. If nothing changes, the largest contributors of pollution are going to be arguing who’s taking in the thousands, millions of displaced individuals whose homes have been destroyed.

Climate change is a natural phenomena, has very little to do with humans fucking the planet.
    Has been happening for eons.

    Are you a scientist?
Have you been to the poles lately?
You see that the ice is melting right?
You have seen the forest fires right?
    Animals are dying.
People have lost their homes due to floods.
    'nuff said.

    Are you?
    Have you?
You see that only one pole is slightly melting, the other is growing, right?
Forest fires happen all the time, just look at California.
Animals die all the time, just look at nature.

I wonder the accelerated melting of the Ice caps in both the south and North poles are false?
The disappearing of the coastal line in India is false,?

Are these occurences another media hype?

Very few people believe that Climate Change is a hoax. What a lot of people believe is that Climate Disaster is a hoax.

5 million years ago, there was no ice in the poles, so geologically the frozen ice caps are a recent development. even less than 2 hundred years ago, there was so little ice in the north pole that ships were able to sail across half of Canada. Polar bear extinction is a myth, its documented that in some areas, polar bears are experiencing a population explosion. People have lost homes to floods throughout recorded history, but no-one has lost a home to the recent rising sea levels.
