College Students Vote

    I will use one I know pretty well. My undergrad. A private University in Downstate NY (wont name it because unless you are an NCAA BB fan you likely never have heard of it and maybe not even then). The total attendance, between day and night, PT and Full time is around 11k. Over half of that are commuters. So they live within driving distance. Around 35% of the FT Resident Pop is from NYC or Long Island. Again, I am thinking maybe my schools were exceptions.

    Some school do draw from the local populations and that's fine. Its those outside of the local taxing areas who are just passing through for four years that I object too. They are at best temporary residents who could really careless about the area they are in and therefore should not be allowed to have a say in its fate.
