Dogs will always love you just because you are you

 

I would love another dog, but we are both getting very long in the tooth, my wife can
no longer walk without a walking frame and then only very slowly.
I had 2 hips and a knee replaced, so some days my walking is very painful.
A dog needs to be walked and exercised regularly.
Many just tie them up in the backyard and they never got out to mix with other dogs,
get to run in the park, I could not do that to a loved companion.
So we have to do without.
We are with one foot in the grave, the other on a banana skin.
But we loved the dogs who owned us.

 

Yesterday in Canberra, the political center of Oz, a woman was attacked and killed by her pit bull, when he went for the police, they shot him.
The woman's husband was hurt too, so not all mutts are lovely friends.

Dogs can be mankinds best friend, but they are often treated badly by so many.

Anyway there is a story about Mae West the famous actress, she is supposed to have had 3 Whippets,
their names apparently were Whip it in, Whip it out, and Wipe it.
