He is certainly amongst a terrific "Band of Brothers" in that picture (even if some of them are Ladies).

    Cheers

Those soldiers are 101st. Airborne The Screaming Eagles. The same group that went in first on D-day. G.W. was always on the right side of any problem. At least after 9-11 for seven years he kept us safe. No work place violence, no man made disaster. G.W. actually went after the bad guys with no apology. You hurt us we will kill you. Maybe we need another Texas cowboy governor. Can you say Greg Abbott.

Ain't it grand. It feels like spring. Daffodils are in bloom, trees budding out, can't wait to see the first dogwood in bloom. Dogs and cat spent almost all day outside. Soaking up the sun and then napping in the shade. Sugar our old cat even tried for a bird. They are safe as she's not as fast as she once was. I was surprised as she came up with in inches of being successful. Even got the garden tilled for the first time to more trips and it will be done. Hopefully we will plant cabbages, broccoli, and onions this weekend.

I got a call yesterday from one of my musician friends. He informed me of the death of one of our mutual friends Rusty Burns lead guitarist for the band " Point Blank ". I first got to know him back in 2005 or 2006. He and my late wife were friends back in their Dallas/Ft Worth days. Since then I have got to know John O'Daniel lead singer for Point Blank. Buddy Whittington set in with Point Blank on their last live album. Here is a little taste of one more of Texas Rock Band Point Blank

The Worth Hotel in 1905. Built in the late 1870s it lasted until approx. 1939. It sat between 7th and 8th on Main and it was used as the seat of the executive branch of the federal government while Theodore Roosevelt went wolf hunting in Oklahoma in April 1905. It housed August's store, owned by the merchant who built the Majestic Theater.
I love this building. It looks like a missing piece of a European castle.
