    Cheerleader tryouts... Those male cheerleaders are pretty smart. Jocks would tease guys about being gay, but I see it this way:

    Is it gay to cheer a bunch of other guys on while holding a cutie's butt OR working hard and sweating among a bunch of other guys oh whom you'll likely have a lot of close contact?

    The same could be said for Ballet Dancers

    I guess it's just a US idiom thing then... but at least in my experience, many of the peoples here generally see being a cheerleader or ballet dancer as... I don't want to say inappropriate, but... not manly, and people being people, if it doesn't fit "social norm", then it is to be made fun of.
    Yup... I went to a Chip-and-Dales show and was saddened greatly when I found out that 4 of the 5 hottest guys (as voted by my GFs and I) were gay :rolleyes:... and the last was married :(... The point is, some were gay and others were not, but a "stereotyped" male cheerleader/ballet dancer in the US (or at least in the 20 some odd cities I've been in) view males in that profession as "gay"...o_O

    Go figure...

    And here lies (lies in the sence of "the book lies on the table", not in like "not telling the truth") the problem:

    Why can't people just do whatever they want to do? (When it's not against the law)

    - A man who likes to do ballet or works in a flower shop?

    - A woman who enjoys getting dirty and getting oil on her clothes while repairing motorized vehicles?

    I built my own house. Literally. I hired some sub trades, and the odd helper person. They all resented working for me. Taking orders from a bitch. And I was single, no boyfriend. Therefore I was a dyke.

    I like men. The 1% of the males of the species that can actually walk upright and converse in more than monosyllabic grunts.

    And this one misses her racing days. I have no problem hopping into the garage and getting dirty.

    I guess I set my bar too high... if the talkers are just 1%, what percentage of men are humble intellectuals?

    Also as a male nurse I received many comments about being gay. Some male nurses are gay and many are not.
