It is reported from the Kremlin so I believe that after Foreign Minister Lavrov warned US Secretary of State Pompeo against America "starting any more wars", meaning a US attack on Venezuela which would lead to World War 3, Duma (Russian Parliament) Deputy Slutski has warned John Bolton, in charge of National Security, that if the US is "preparing for a military scenario with Iran", Pompeo will have to tell President Putin in person at Sochi on 14 May one way or the other if the United States wants "peace or war". China announced on 6 May that it will defy US sanctions on the purchase of Iranian oil. Iranian tankers are now protected by both Russian and Chinese naval and air forces, and China "expecting the worst", has placed its entire army on "heightened alert".

Civilization is coming to an end, but the cause is not Russia or China. We could have WWIII and still have society continue. The existential threat to Civilization are Liberals.

Yes I agree about the danger, and it was the secret Sunni Muslim Obama who helped it along and nobody ever knew since unlike Trump he never had any opposition. We may hope that there is a coming storm this year in Europe to uproot globalization and at least raise the drawbridge against the millions of immigration seekers waiting to set sail from Africa. For example, I cannot understand how Merkel has lasted this long. Anyway, while we have Trump looking out for Israeli interests, Iran being the Number One enemy of Israel, we certainly need to keep a sharp eye on the Middle East.

As reported today by Bloomberg financial online: Iran has said that in 60 days it will resume uranium enrichment beyond the limits agreed under the 2015 nuclear deal if the European signatories to the agreement fail to find a way for Iran to continue to sell its oil. Since not even the United States is likely to invade Venezuela if it means immediate retaliation by Russia and China to wipe out the United States, if the US is looking for war again, Iran will be where the incident is created to start it.

    Hi Godfrey R.
I was born and grew up in Germany and I have a feeling that Chancellor Merkel allowed so many refugees into Germany
is the big drop in children being born there on one hand and the other to atone for the mass murder of millions
    under the Nazis.
More taxpayers are needed to pay for social services, pensions, welfare of various types.
So hopefully the refugees will integrate into German society and make it a better place.
But I left 55 years ago and may be wrong on all counts.

The mass murder of many more millions of innocents by the Soviet Government then were ever killed by the Nazis has never been atoned for. How easily the victors got away with it! T

There cannot be many Germans who believe that admitting a million Muslims into the country, and soon many more millions of refugees from black Africa, will make Germany "a better place". I look at Özil lining up with the rest of the national football team to sing "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit" and his lips never move. Has he integrated? He loves the game, but does he love Germany? Not enough to sing its national anthem apparently.

Notice this word "Freiheit". Unity and Justice and Freedom "sind des Glückes Unterpfand, danach lasst uns alle streben". Freedom is something which German women have enjoyed for at least a century or so, even under National Socialism, since they were last considered chattels. With Sharia Law, and bearing in mind the inborn sentiments of Moslem men in general, Islam cannot really be tolerated within a Christian environment, for it is clearly a backward step in human development.

The biggest threat to peace in the World right now, continues to be AIPAC.

AIPAC=The American Israel Public Affairs Committee. See third and fourth lines of my first paragraph, posting of Wednesday last.

The situation is now becoming clearer. In an earlier posting I referred to Russian Federation's new totalitarian political ideology of "Eurasianism" as enshrined in Aleksander Dugan's book "The Foundations of Geopolitics" (1997).

The two newest factors to enter the equation are these:

(1)"The centre point for the entire philosophy of Dugin's fascist Eurasian Union project is not possible without Ukraine underfoot."
See my recent post in this sub-forum "Ukraine goes Right".

    (2) "In principle, Eurasia and the Russian heartland remain the strategic area of a new, anti-bourgeois, anti-American revolution. The new Eurasian empire will be built on the fundamental principle of the common enemy, the rejection of Atlanticism (i.e. US/UK) strategy, on control of the United States and the refusal to allow liberal values to dominate us.

"If Russia is to win this fight, it must unite around itself all the continental Powers including Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet republics, Turkey, Iran and Korea into a grand Eurasian Union strong enough to defeat the West."

There is therefore no way in which Russia is going to allow Iran to become a casualty in any conflict.

I am reminded here of Nostradamus' Epistle to Henry II when he predicted that "The Great Empire of the Anti-Christ" will begin where once was Attila's empire (from the Urals west, i.e. Russia) and Xerxes (a Persian, i.e. Iranian, ruler) who will descend with great and innumerable numbers….."

    Upon whom?

The New York Times reports that Patrick Shanahan, Chief of something or other at the Pentagon, has revealed a plan to send 120,000 US troops to the Middle East for the confrontation with Iran. The plan does not envisage "an invasion of Iran for lack of a sufficient force." These 120,000 troops are additional to the 80,000 US troops in the China Sea area. Yesterday in an act of piracy on the high seas, the US Navy arrested a North Korean oil tanker "on suspicion of contravening international sanctions" and brought it into American Samoa.
Sooner or later the United States is going to make the false step from which there can be no turning back.

United States tends to be reactive not proactive, so why would it be the United States making the false step.

I would hardly elevate him to that level. USA's Presidents are hired essentially as stewards - they can set domestic policy to a certain extent, but foreign policy decisions need to be ratified by Head Office.

They wear the hat, they read the rules, they assume the position ...

The USA may have Flagship Settlement status, but they're still a settlement.

There could be many reasons - misinterpretation of objectives, mis-translation of instructions, eg - it's going to happen when you go to war on someone else's behalf.

So why don't you stop being re-active to false flags, and start being pro-active about dealing with the real problem - foreign collusion in your government (and it ain't Russia, pal).

You're the United States of America, for God's sake - we need you to get yourselves united and be a leader ! [IMG]

Trump is far preferable than the corrupt, criminal, lame narcissist that is in charge of Canada.

If you don't want the United States to react to a move that someone else makes, then that other should not have made that move. You are saying that the man defending his home is guilty of stopping someone thats trying to destroy it.

A very important pointer to the danger in which we find ourselves was made on March 22 when US Secretary of State Pompeo stated in an interview in Jerusalem that he believed "God raised Donald Trump to be President in order to protect Israel against Iran. I am confident that the Lord is at work here."

Here we have a suggestion of electoral collusion not between Trump and Russia, but between Trump and the God of Israel. If Pompeo believes this nonsense, no doubt President Trump does so too. If Trump gets it into his head, or the Israeli leaders convince him, that he should embark upon a certain crazy course of action against Iran, there is no knowing where it may lead, and not only in the Middle East, but much, much closer to home.

President Trump, starting with his backing of Keystone, has done more for Canada than our own Prime Minister has - go figure, eh. [IMG]

Actually, no. He's not preferable. Trump is the most dangerous man on the planet.

Trump is the most anti-Canadian president since Isenhower. Maybe you should move south if you like him so much.
Oh, sorry, I forgot. He likes Jews. Maybe you shouldn't move, lol.
