Firat things first...I got permission to make this post from Curmudgeon.

Roxy Raye (real name Darla Kwilecki) was in a single vehicle car accident on December 12 and her car went over/ through a guard rail and over a cliff when she missed a turn on a foggy night in California. Another motorist saw it happen and called rescue right away. They had to cut her out of her SUV and she broke both legs and arms plus some other injuries. She has no insurance and here sister is requesting help through a GoFundMe page. Help if you can. Any amount would help.

    Regards,

    Joep

    Tweets from Roxy Raye:

Hi everyone :) I can't fit everything I want to say on one tweet so hear we go..
I'm not a believer in gods, but I have to say I either got really lucky by chance or maybe I was touched by an angel I'm not dead. I was in a terrible car accident a week ago and barely made it. It looked like the duke of hazards movie.
It was foggy and the street was so hard to see with the dense fog rolling in I missed the turn and went straight last minute instead of turning right. My car hit a small farming ditch and airlifted really high I then rolled at least 5-7 times.
I had my seatbelt on, I'm pretty sure thats why I'm still here. The jaws of life was used on my car, as it was impossible to get me out with my numb, mangled legs (The bone was sticking out of the flesh on my lower leg and if you've ever seen Harry Potter after he finishes the quidditch game, Ron uses a spell to fix it and it looked All Floppy. No joke. exactly what my left arm looked like on my arm.
I plan on getting all my Xrays together. It looks crazy. So, the surgeon said I crushed about 60 bones. I cannot walk or use my left arm, my back is fractured as well, but not much I can do for that.
My sister started a go fund me account to help with the medical bills and my time off to heal. I really need an electric chair to get around or if someone doesn't use one they have, I would be ok using that, too. Just need it temporarily unitl I can walk (I don't mind hand me downs) physical therapy to walk should be about 3 months.
I appreciate any help with the go fund me fundraiser Darla Kwilecki- Let’s walk again https://www.gofundme.com/darla-kwilecki-lets-walk-again. or my amazon wishlist https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2K08TA6OAIAQQ This is going to be one hell of a road for awhile, but hopefully I will be stronger coming out the other side.
Surgery #4 is done. I may have another this coming week. I think im about 75% terminator now lol.
Thanks to anyone who can help on this not so fun journey.

    Happy February!
Wanted to update everyone on Darla and her current condition! It has been exactly two months since her accident!
She made it to Florida last month where she will spend the next year recovering! Due to the nature of her injuries she will be bound to a wheel chair for quite some time. She has seen several doctors for her legs and arm but ended up needing a specialist who specializes in leg trauma. The first initial doctors left her right leg in terrible condition, allowing the weight barring bone missing a piece, and unfortuantly the rod will not support her weight. Next week on the 19th The doctors will perform one of two surgeries to fix her leg. Theysaid they will need a cadaver bone in The one inch gap he left out. This in addition her Fibia bone broke in half and they will correct that. They will take out all the bolts, screw, rods out and start over. They will be doing a skin graph using her upper thigh to help with the lower skin that never healed properly. Her knee will be replaced due to the crap job he did and he doctor saying she would need up with such bad arthritis in that knee.
Darla is a strong woman and looks forward to being 100% again. She gets stronger everyday even though she is in so much physical pain. She is thankful for all the support thus far that she has been given!

Hi everyone! Sorry, I haven’t posted in awhile about my recovery. It has been hard going through all this, but I’m feeling very positive of as of late. Im still not able to walk, so I’m in a wheelchair. I’m going in next week for surgery #5 on my right leg. The doctor is removing All my hardware (rods, plates, screws) and reconstructing it so it is aligned from hip to toe. I’ll have a skin graft and a bone graft done, on top of new hardware inside. I’ll post pictures on my Instagram. II appreciated any help you guys have done for me.

Got my hard cast on my arm yesterday. Still wearing a removable one, though. I will need surgery to remove two screws that are pushing their way out on my wrist, rubbing on a tendon.

Thank you everyone. Sometimes it’s refreshing to hear a compliment, or a simple hello from someone. Today has been shitty and it felt really nice to hear from many people. I just need positivity along my future road.

Feeling positive today. Im looking to the future and I feel like it is bright. I’m not going to let these pains push me into darkness, even if times I felt like it would.
